IBM Corporation’s Centers for E-business Innovation has joined with FutureBrand, the digital branding arm of the Interpublic-owned Coleman Group, to create a global e-branding consultancy.

Targeting Fortune 1000 and internet companies, Big Blue aims to become the full-service partner of choice to emerging dotcoms and the new partnership is the most recent in a series of initiatives to that end.

The deal extends IBM's existing relationship with FutureBrand, with which it will offer integrated online branding expertise across all industries, both for consumer and corporate brands. A New York-based team of e-branding specialists will service US clients, and a London office will open later this year.
