Home Office Adspend Up by Almost 100%

The Home Office, the British government’s internal affairs department, has all but doubled its advertising expenditure since 1999.

Home secretary Jack Straw yesterday told the House of Commons that Home Office adspend to date in 2000 totalled £11.08 million – virtually double the £5.65m spent in 1999.
