NEW YORK - Google has passed another milestone, reports Nielsen//NetRatings. In April the search engine accounted for over fifty per cent of all US internet searches - the first time it has commanded a majority of the market.
Yahoo and MSN searches respectively comprised 22% and 11% of total searches for the month.
Year-on-year, Google has gained 3% while Yahoo's share stayed flat and MSN's dipped slightly.
