A $30 million worldwide advertising account is currently trawling agencies.
The seeker is French insurance behemoth Assurances Generales de France, whose creative business currently resides at the Paris office of McCann-Erickson Worldwide. Media planning/buying is in the hands of CIA-Le Lab, a unit of Britain’s Tempus Group and it is not known whether either shop will defend the business.
Pitches are scheduled to commence in late September under the eagle eye of Pascal Bourgues, AGF’s new director of communications, who recently joined the group from Telecom Italia unit 9 Telecom.
AGF, a subsidiary of Germany’s Allianz group, last year posted revenues of $14.4 billion. It specializes in life, health and other insurance products.
