Former COI Boss Fisher Joins Ingram Start-Up

20 October 2003

Carol Fisher, former head of the British government's advertising unit, is joining the new venture of ex-Tempus Group boss Chris Ingram.

Fisher was chief executive of COI Communications (the administrative interface between the government and its roster of agencies) for three years until quitting last year [WAMN: 24-Jun-03]. She left without another job in prospect three months after her line of reporting changed to [then] government communications supremo Alastair Campbell.

Now Fisher is buying a stake in the Ingram Partnership, a branding and communications consultancy set up by the Tempus founder over the summer [WAMN: 29-Jul-03].

Aside from Fisher, the venture already has some big names on its books – its advisory board includes Richard Eyre (former ceo of UK television network ITV), Terry Neill (one-time chairman of Accenture's global board) and Andrew Seth (ex-chairman of Lever Brothers).
