Ford and Volvo in Marketing Shuffle

DEARBORN, Michigan: The Ford Motor Company has announced management suite changes that move Anne Bélec to the role of director of global marketing, reporting directly to marcoms vp Jim Farley.

She is replaced as ceo of the Volvo North America unit by Doug Speck, who has served as sales and marketing head since March last year.

At Ford, Bélec will be responsible for global marketing strategies and processes, brand positioning and consumer insights.

The changes are effective immediately.
