Ford Launches New Offensive in Sales Promotion Battle

As the battle of the US auto giants’ promotional offers rages on, Ford Motor Company has unveiled new sales incentives in response to the ‘1-2-3’ cash rebate scheme unveiled last week by General Motors [WAMN: 02-May-02].

The ‘cash plus’ program offers customers cut-rate finance deals (as low as 0.9%) and rebates of up to $3,000 (€3,284; £2,046).

The offer expires July 1, the same day as GM’s scheme.
