Ford Faces Another Management Suite Exit

12 December 2006

DETROIT: The troubled Ford Motor Company is losing its head of international operations, Mark Shulz, after a 36-year career with the automaker.

Shulz says he is leaving for "personal reasons", citing the amount of travel he has to undertake and his desire to spend more time with his family.

He has been in his present role just a year, having previously led the Asia-Pacific and Africa regions.

Ford has not named a replacement, saying "any changes in structure and organization" resulting from his retirement in early 2007 will be announced later.
