ExxonMobil has drawn up a shortlist of five shops for the consolidation of its £75 million media account.
The account, worth £2 million in the UK, is currently divided between Universal McCann, which covers the UK Esso business, and Initiative Media, responsible for Mobil. However, the oil firm is seeking to consolidate its marketing arrangements across the world to cut down its eclectic roster.
Universal has been retained on the shortlist, while the other four agencies are Starcom MediaVest, Zenith Media, Optimum MediaDirection and Carat.
