FEDMA (Federation of European Direct Marketing Associations) is to hold the first meeting of its new consumer complaints project CCForm on December 6.
The scheme, funded by the European Commission and co-ordinated by FEDMA, involves companies of all sizes, consumer groups, software firms and legal experts. Its goals are to boost the quality of complaints management across the European Union, reduce costs and raise confidence among consumers.
At the meeting, to be held in the Brussels Residence Palace, partners will take their places on six different panels, which will draw up guidelines in the eleven EU languages for a transparent complaints form and a best practice procedure.
“FEDMA looks forward to officially launching the CCForm Topic Panels on 6 December after several months of preparations”, commented the project’s director, Peter Scoggins. “We already have project partners from all over Europe signed up … and are working closely with the national DMAs to further disseminate the project.”
