Disney Profits Boosted by Hit TV Shows

   HOLLYWOOD - The Walt Disney Company has posted a second fiscal quarter rise in profits of 12%, boosted by hit shows on its TV network, ABC.
   Net profit was $733m (€573.1m; £391.9m) in the three months to the end of March 2006, up from $657m a year earlier. Quarterly revenue rose to $8.03bn from the $7.83bn seen 12 months previously, but this was below analyst predictions.
