Diageo Hires New US Marketing Chief

Who says drinking and driving don't mix? Not Debra Kelly-Ennis.

Currently president and chief operating officer of General Motors' Saab Cars USA, Kelly-Ennis is set to join the world's largest huckster of hard-stuff, Diageo, as its new chief marketing officer for North America.

Reporting to Diageo North America president-ceo Ivan Menezes, she will take up the reins on April 25, replacing evp for consumer strategy and marketing Mark Waller.

Eulogizes Menezes: "Debra's outstanding record of consumer-focused marketing experience and managerial expertise in the highly competitive automotive industry make her a great fit for this position."
