23 February 2007

ATLANTA: The Coca-Cola Company is planning to launch a vitamin enriched version of its popular Diet Coke brand later this year, to be called Diet Coke Plus.

Arch-rival PepsiCo is also reported to have a new product in the pipeline, a variation of its Diet Pepsi brand. Diet Pepsi Max, containing ginseng and more caffeine, will hit US stores in June.

The beverage will be positioned as an invigorating cola, resembling an energy drink and targeting the 25-34 age group and new diet cola drinkers.
