Coke Creative Chief Quits for Euro RSCG Post

04 May 2007

ATLANTA: Coca-Cola's chief creative officer for North America, Esther Lee, will next month move north to New York to take up an unstated senior role at Havas' flagship network Euro RSCG.

In a valedictory memo to Coca-Cola staff, Lee (48) hailed her five years at with the beverage behemoth as "invaluable in giving me the opportunity to redefine creative excellence, build global brands and drive growth and shareholder value.

"While I leave with heavy heart, the opportunity at Euro was too compelling to pass up," she concluded.

Lee and former Coke chief operating officer Steve Heyer were together responsible for the 'Real'-themed launch campaign for Coke Classic in 2003.
