Chrysler Shifts Media Executive

DETROIT: Automaker Chrysler is shuffling its marketing team, moving one executive to head the area office of its incumbent media agency PHD.

Jim Helberg, who joined the group earlier this year as media director from OMD West, will report to Daryl Simm, ceo of Omnicom Media Group.

Chrysler cmo Deborah Wahl Meyer says
PHD will be "closer aligned" with the carmaker's creative agency, Omnicom sibling BBDO, allowing more integrated programs.

Helberg has been succeeded by marketing manager Susan Thompson.
