Chrysler CMO Quits to Seek 'Other Opportunities'

23 December 2008

DETROIT: After just fifteen months in Chrysler's marketing hotseat, chief marketing officer Deborah Wahl Meyer (pictured) bade adieu to the troubled automaker, departing immediately in search of that formulaic favorite – "other opportunities".

Meyer, a former vp marketing for Toyota's US Lexus unit, joined Chrysler in August 2007. Her departure from the latter coincides with its production close-down until January 19 at earliest.
