Milwaukee’s Cumulus Media has announced the purchase of 35 radio stations from Connoisseur Communications in a $257.8 million deal.

The stations cover nine separate markets, including four in Evansville, Indiana, and five in Muskegon, Minnesota.

Cumulus is also currently exchanging assets in a deal with Clear Channel Communications. It has just received $68.9m from the San Antonio-based firm in return for thirty stations.

Cumulus will also receive four stations in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and $52m, in return for moving a further 45 stations to Clear Channel.
