Burger King Chooses Campbell Mithun to Target Kids

Miami-headquartered fast food chain Burger King, a unit of Britain's Diageo, yesterday named Minneapolis shop Campbell Mithun Esty to handle its estimated $80 million child-oriented advertising account.

Among the shops challenging Interpublic-owned CME were Grey Worldwide and Lowe Lintas & Partners Worldwide, both of New York City.

The appointment follows that of sibling Interpublic network McCann-Erickson Worldwide Advertising as agency of record for BK’s main account [WAMN: 9-Jan-01].
