Barclays denies b2 launch is a flop

RUMOURS ARE RIFE around the City’s parish pump that Barclays Bank’s latest investment brand b2 is a dire flop. Rival fund managers are saying that the £8 million ad budget spent on the brand’s launch has generated investments totalling just £2 million. Barclays denies the rumour - 'both those figures are total rubbish' - but refuses to state the actual position.
