BSkyB Boosts Web Presence With Mykindaplace Deal

ISLEWORTH, UK: NewsCorp-controlled UK satellite monopoly BSkyB has bought online publisher Mykindaplace in a multimillion-pound deal, as part of its strategy to build its online offering.

Mykindaplace not only owns the teenage boys' website and its girls' counterpart,, but also designs websites for other companies.

It will become part of multiplatform content division Sky Networked Media which will use its web design expertise to launch specialist sites, with the first expected before the year end.
