BBH Tapped for Sony Ericsson Duties

Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications – the mobile phone joint venture between Sony and Swedish mobile firm Ericsson officially launched on October 1 – announced on Friday that London's Bartle Bogle Hegarty will be its global ad agency.

BBH, which already handles Ericsson, will launch two global campaigns for phones before Christmas. “The first one is for the new T65 and the second for T68 and they are both going to be launched under the new Sony Ericsson brand,” revealed Matthias Schedvin, the joint venture’s head of marketing for the Nordic countries.

Sony Ericsson intends to become the world’s leading mobile multimedia group within the next five years.
