BBDO Picks Vogel for PentaMark

13 November 2000

BBDO Worldwide in New York has announced that Mike Vogel will become chairman and chief executive of PentaMark Worldwide, the Troy (Michigan)-based shop set up to handle the newly consolidated creative and media business of DaimlerChrysler.

Vogel moves from True North’s FCB Detroit, which shared the DaimlerChrysler account with BBDO until earlier this month [WAMN: 06-Nov-00].

BBDO’s parent Omnicom had been asked by the car manufacturer to recruit a number of FCB’s top executives to PentaMark Worldwide, where Marty Levine, president and chief executive of the old BBDO shop PentaMark, will take up the dual role of president and chief operating officer.
