Champagne corks are popping at BBDO Worldwide's Duesseldorf office in celebration of two major account wins – Germany’s best-selling detergent Persil and Danzas.

The latter is the global forwarding arm of Germany’s state-owned postal service, Deutsche Post, and BBDO is responsible for advertising worldwide, with special emphasis on the US, Scandinavian and Asian markets. Its value was unstated.

The Persil business, awarded by Henkel, is said to be worth $40 million in Germany alone. BBDO will also service the account in other European countries, excluding the UK where the brand is owned by Unilever.
