BBDO Germany Restructures Media Network

BBDO Group Germany will in the New Year overhaul its media planning and buying operations.

From New Year’s Day, Klaus Peter Schulz (ex-media director at TV station SAT.1) will become ceo of the network’s media operations, replacing Eduard van Eyck who will take up an international role in BBDO’s media business.

BBDO’s eleven German media shops will also begin to co-operate under the aegis of Omnicom media network Optimum Media Direction Worldwide.

Areas of co-operation between the eleven agencies will cover IT, research, e-business, new business and finance.
