Amtrak Stops at O&M

14 February 2001

Railroad operator Amtrak yesterday announced it had handed its account to Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide in New York. Billings are thought to be over $35 million.

The choice of O&M, which follows a seven-month review, displaces fellow New York agency DDB Worldwide, the incumbent for over 25 years.

Multicultural marketing will continue to be handled by Chisholm-Mingo, again in New York, while DDB’s Seattle office will retain the duties for trains in Oregon and Washington State.
