Olwen Direct Mail, (0181 688 7999), the hi-tech Croydon-based mailshop, now offers selective machine-enclosing - enabling individual components of a mail pack to be selectively inserted according to the information held on a client’s database. The technology allows large selective mailings to be run non-stop, avoiding the need to break-down the overall run into small cells, and allowing maximum postage re-bates to be achieved. The Olwen technique combines improvements in camera technology and better quality printing of OCR marks with new software to control the enclosing machines.
