AT&T Wireless Makes $400m Call to O&M

13 July 2001

Following a four month review of the estimated $400 million AT&T Wireless account, Ogilvy & Mather has snatched the business from FCB Worldwide – an ironic ending to a saga which saw the account switched from FCB’s ailing San Francisco office to its New York sibling by parent company True North in a desperate bid to defend the business [WAMN: 9-May-01].

Also fallen by the wayside is a third finalist, TBWA\Chiat\Day in Playa Del Rey, California.
