SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS - AT&T on Wednesday launched its Homezone television service, which melds satellite TV with on-demand movies and other internet services.
The rollout starts in Ohio and in AT&T's home town of San Antonio, Texas. Customers will need to subscribe to the company's broadband service, which it offers jointly with Yahoo! and EchoStar's Dish Network satellite service.
Subscribers pay $9.99 (€7.75; £5.44) a month for Homezone, plus the costs of the Dish Network and high-speed internet services, both of which vary depending on the service package selected.
