Lastminute.com has been appointed AOL Europe’s preferred partner for late deals on the latter’s travel, entertainment and shopping channels.
AOL – which boasts five million customers – will post offers from the eleventh hour e-tailer on its British, French and German sites. The duo already have an alliance.
Lastminute, now recovering in spectacular style from its near-bankruptcy earlier this year, hopes to be profitable in six months [WAMN: 16-Aug-01].
