Advertising research specialist AdZone Interactive reports that year-to-date online adspend by US advertisers soared by 21% to an estimated total of $1.5 billion in July.

However, this figure is almost certainly inflated, warns AdZone, as it is based on card rates rather than actual spend.

Topping the list yet again is with an estimated spend of $85.8 million, trailed by with $48.8m and ($33.9m). Other big spenders include ($27.4m) and ($27.2).
