Negotiations in the long-running SAG/AFTRA advertising actors’ strike today enter their third consecutive day.

Federal mediator John Muir described yesterday’s talks between advertising representatives and the actors’ unions as “productive”.

In one corner of the pay-triggered dispute are the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists; in the opposite corner stand the Joint Policy Committee of the Association of National Advertisers and the American Association of Advertising Agencies.

None of the parties were allowed by the mediators to comment on the talks.
