WPP & Atticuswww.wpp.comAbout WPP WPP companies work with over 340 of the Fortune Global 500, over one-half of the NASDAQ 100 and over 30 of the Fortune e-50. WPP is quoted on the London Stock Exchange and NASDAQ in New York. About WPP's Atticus Program Open exclusively to professionals working in WPP companies around the world, these annual awards seek out the think-piece, the overview, the argument, the trend, the thesis (not day-to-day paid-for client work). Entries take many forms: books, blogs, speeches, presentations, articles, reports. Award categories are: Advertising; Branding & Identity; Digital Communications; Market Research & Insights; Media and Communications Planning; Public Relations & Public Affairs; Relationship Marketing; and Strategy. In addition, there is a Corporate Award and the Under-30 Essay Prize. The Atticus Grand Prix is awarded to the most outstanding submission of all. Atticus entries are judged by an international panel of independent professionals selected for their expertise and understanding of the marketing services industry. Judges past and current include: John McArthur, Dean of Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration; Helen Alexander, CEO, The Economist Group; Jim Stengel, Global Marketing Officer, Procter & Gamble; and Judie Lannon, Editor, Market Leader. The judges are rigorous and uncompromising: no submission has a chance of winning unless the ideas contained are of clear potential advantage to clients. Entries are submitted each January from work published during the previous calendar year. Winners are announced by June.
