The review for the $67 million media account of pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly & Co has been narrowed to three.

Still in the running are Starcom Worldwide, Empower MediaMarketing and The Media Edge. Dropped from the review are shops with no previous experience of pharmaceutical work, and those handling rival brands.

The Indianapolis-headquartered client, which did not hear pitches before narrowing the review, manufactures Prozac and is expected to roll out a new product to compete with Pfizer’s Viagra in 2002.
