• Ira Carlin will be appointed chairman of Interpublic Group’s media negotiation network Magna Global Worldwide, say insiders. Carlin will leave his current post chairing Interpublic sibling Universal McCann.
• Andrew McLean has been appointed head of Mediedge:CIA’s global client services group, taking the title chief client officer. McLean was formerly global client services director at Media Edge before its merger with CIA. He will be supported by the division’s new managing director Ron de Pear.
