An earnings release issued Wednesday by New York-headquartered interactive agency Razorfish reports net income for the first quarter at $2.5 million (2 cents a share) on revenues down to $11.3m – respectively comparing year-on-year with a loss of nearly $25m and revenues of $43.8m.

The shop anticipates pro forma net earnings of $500,000 - $1m for the second quarter. The delivered results and the bullish forecast saw Razorfish stock trading on Nasdaq at 48 cents rise by 33 cents Wednesday.
