NEW YORK: Omnicom Group media network OMD has appointed Alan Cohen – currently the president of Initiative's western operations and formerly a senior executive at Interpublic Group – as its new ceo in the US.
Cohen, who has previously held posts at NBC, ABC and 20th Century Fox, replaces Joe Uva, who left for the ceo role at Spanish-language broadcaster Univision.
Cohen will report to OMD North America ceo Page Thompson, although the company is still looking for a new global ceo.
