HAMPSHIRE, UK: Cable provider NTL:Telewest has hooked up with British commercial broadcaster Channel 4 to make the latter's programming available on-demand to subscribers.
The three year deal will allow customers to catch up on C4's current schedule and on its extensive back catalogue.
The broadcaster is planning a major rollout of VOD content via the web and mobile devices next month, and said the deal with the NTL Telewest is just one stage in its plans.
