Mediaedge:cia is reshuffling its senior staff to allow global ceo Mainardo de Nardis more time to run the network at a worldwide level.
As well as his global role, de Nardis has hitherto overseen the WPP Group unit's activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This task now passes to Mark Austin, formerly chief executive of Mediaedge:cia's Asia Pacific operations, who has become EMEA chairman. He will work alongside the region's ceo Dominic Grainger.
The Asia Pacific division will be managed by Andre Nair, ceo of MindShare South Asia and GroupM India.
