LONDON: Joost TV, the online television service conceived by Skype's founding duo, Janus Friis and Niklas Zennstrom, has opened for business.

It is offering over 150 channels and is supported by more than thirty global advertisers, including Coca-Cola, Hewlett Packard and Nike [WARC News: 27-Apr-07]. Ads are due to appear on Joost broadcasts later this month.
