DUBLIN: Irish advertising spend is forecast to grow 6% in 2007, down from this year's 10% rise, according to marketing and media consultancy Billetts Ireland.
Television is expected to see the biggest increase of 9%, while press is likely to grow at a slower rate of 4%.
BI managing director Nigel Brophy predicts the increase in adspend will be greater during the first half of the year, adding that demand for ad space will rise 8% up to June, and by 3% thereafter.
