DETROIT: The Ford Motor Company has made it clear that its European marques Jaguar, Volvo and Land Rover are not for sale - at the moment.

Lewis Booth, head of Ford of Europe and its Premier Automotive Group of premium brands, told a webcast presentation to analysts the only marque currently on the market is iconic British sports car unit Aston Martin [WARC News: 01-Sept-06].

However, he stressed: "Everything is on the table," and the picture could change at any time.

The number two US automaker is in the painful throes of restructuring [WARC News: 15: Sept-06] as it struggles with domestic and overseas sales doldrums.
