There has been an out-of-court settlement of the claim against Cordiant Communications lodged by Nick Miles and Hugh Morrison, respectively the former ceo and international managing director of Cordiant’s PR global moneyspinner Financial Dynamics.

The terms of the settlement are firmly under the wraps but the sparse details suggest that Miles and Morrison have ceded the day to Cordiant which will pay no damages to the pair who had claimed £5 million ($7.11m; €8.15m) for loss of their jobs. The two have also withdrawn their [publicly unstated] allegations against Cordiant.

Since the duo’s acrimonious departure, Cordiant has announced its intention to rebrand Financial Dynamics with current ceo Charles Watson at the helm of the soon-to-be-relabelled firm.
