PRAGUE: Local agency ARBOmedia predicts that adspend in the Czech Republic will rise 5.7% this year to CKr19.3 billion ($931.8m; €701.3m; £472.1m) - virtually doubling growth in 2006.

Of this sum, TV will account for almost half the total spend with €3330m - but growth will be dominated, as elsewhere, by the internet where expansion of 35% to €26.3m is forecast.

Among the nation's advertisers, Telefónica O2 continues to lead the pack, with Vodafone and Nestlé respectively occupying second and third places.
