Reebok Taps Baldwin for Top Global Marketing Role
Dennis Baldwin, Reebok's svp of global footwear since 2001, moves up to chief marketing officer with immediate effect. He replaces Muktesh 'Mickey' Pant who has quit to set up his own yoga-based business in India and the US.
Enthuses Reebok president and chief operating officer Jay Margolis: "Dennis' wealth of product knowledge combined with his marketing experience and extensive Reebok background make his appointment to cmo of the Reebok brand natural and seamless."
With global sales of £1.8 billion ($3.37bn; €2.66bn) in 2002, British-controlled (but Massachusetts-headquartered) Reebok lags America's Nike and Germany's Adidas in the global league table.
The group's brand marketing agency is Omnicom-owned Arnell Group in New York.

One Prez Out, Another In at FCB
Harry Reid, president/ceo of Interpublic's Foote Cone & Belding International for the past ten years, is to retire at the end of March.
There are no immediate plans to replace him. Instead his duties will be split between Hong Kong-based Ben Barnes (president/ceo for Asia -- plus, now, Africa) and London-located Scott Hollingsworth who assumes the same remit for Europe.
Separately, Lynne Seid, chief client officer at Omnicom network BBDO, joins FCB as president of its flagship office in New Yorke. She assumes that title from Jeff Tarakajian, who remains evp and worldwide director of new business.
