LONDON: UK-headquartered multinational, Barclays Bank, has named Elizabeth Chambers (pictured) as its new chief marketing officer for global retail and commercial banking.

In her newly-created role Chambers, currently cmo at credit card unit Barclaycard where she will retain her duties, is expected to oversee UK retail marketing director Dave Jeppeson and commercial marketing director Richard French.

She says: "We're making strong progress in building our brands globally by embedding innovation and customer centricity in all of our propositions and channels."
