Several unidentified US shops are limbering-up for the $160 million (€176.05m; £109.64m) media planning and buying prize dangled by Charlotte, North Carolina-headquartered Bank of America.

Currently in charge of the business is Interpublic’s Initiative Media North America. Creative, which is not under review, is in the hands of Initiative’s New York sister-company, Bozell.

A decision is expected next month.
