Fund B92: Battle for the Babies

With this campaign, Fund B92, the non-profit arm of a media company, set out to raise public awareness of the poor state of Serbia's neonatal care and, in particular, to attract business donations to purchase 100 new incubators to replace the existing ones that were 40-50 years old.

Objectives

Serbian hospitals were poorly equipped to provide adequate neonatal care for our youngest and most vulnerable citizens. The 1960s incubators were severely outdated. Their warranties were long time overdue, spare parts were unobtainable, and getting technical support became impossible. (figure 1)

Ministry of Health announced health care institutions were lacking 171 incubators.
