Smartphones are changing browsing and purchasing behaviour as more consumers use their mobile phones to compare products and prices. Advertisers have opportunities for mobile advertising but are challenged in developed markets where users are likely to ignore adverts. This snapshot includes data on mobile ownership, purchasing priorities, activities phones are used for, apps downloaded, and video viewing. Users' contact with mobile advertising and opinions on it are also examined. Users in India are particularly willing to look at adverts and to share personal information for tailored advertising....
