While tablets, smartphones and other related technologies have received considerable attention for their impact on the media usage and purchase habits of adults, the advent of these tools is exerting an equally profound influence on a rather younger audience. While speaking at South by Southwest Interactive 2013, Tony Favorito, director of product design at Fisher-Price, the toy manufacturer, discussed just how this trend is changing the way children play and learn.
