Adstats: Advertising in the UK
UK adspend is set to record solid growth in both 2012 and 2013, according to the latest AA/Warc Expenditure Report. Digital advertising is set to take a record share of overall expenditure – £5.8 billion of the £15.3 billion total predicted for 2013, compared to £4.3 billion for TV and £ 1.4 billion for national newspapers. Overall, internet adspend is forecast to grow by 9% from 2012, with TV the next fastest-grower on 4.1%.
